- We are members of Denton Bible Church in Denton, TX where Tommy Nelson is the senior pastor. Before Steve got sick, he was an active member of the DBC choir. He also volunteered with the Sweat Team. They do painting, electrical work, carpentry, and much more for those in need. The Sweat Team, choir and the rest of our church family continue to surround us with love and care as we walk through a difficult time in our lives. Only Christ could give us the joy that characterizes our days as Steve awaits his homecoming to heaven. We are a blended family, and together we have three adult children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Our family blesses us greatly with their support.
